La Mansion del Bosque offers accommodation in San Miguel de Allende, 500 meters from San Miguel de Allende Historical Museum and from San Miguel Arcángel Church. The Hotel La Mansión del Bosque was a room that belonged to a foreign person, who was dedicated to collecting and caring for orchids. This same house was later bought by Mrs. Ruth Hyba, in the year 1966/67. During this time, Ruth dedicated herself entirely to renovating, fixing, and fitting out the first 3 bedrooms, a laundry room, a library, kitchen, and dining room. With only these rooms and spaces, he would inaugurate the Hotel on February 13, 1968. For many foreigners, it became their second home, or as they said, their home in Mexico. Ruth introduced her own style in the special care and treatment of each and every one of her guests. She, as she said, worked 25 hours a day so that her Hotel worked the way she wanted.
