Castle Of Comfort Hotel

This 16th century country house is on the slopes of the Quantock Hills, 15 miles from Exmoor National Park. It has quiet gardens, free Wi-Fi, free parking and a restaurant. The Castle of Comfort Country House is just off the A39, less than 10 miles from Bridgwater. The 5-star house has a Gold Award from VisitBritain. The house was a coaching inn during the 17th century and still has many original features, such as wooden beams. The Castle of Comfort is now a small country house providing 5-star guest accommodations. The rooms with attached bathroom have TVs, telephones, hairdryers, tea/coffee and free sherry. There are large gardens, a lounge, and a restaurant that is open excluding Sunday and Monday. Alcohol is not currently served, but guests are welcome to bring their own. We offer a cooked breakfast on weekends and a continental breakfast on weekdays.
